What Are “Re-entry” Programs?
Public safety re-entry programs refer to programs that provide services to individuals who are “re-entering” the community after being released from state prison or county jail.
Services typically consist of drug rehabilitation, education, housing, employment and medical services. Individuals transferred to county facilities through public safety realignment or released from state prison, may be eligible for re-entry services.
