City of Fillmore
The City of Fillmore City Council adopted their Energy Action Plan in 2015, which established a municipal energy reduction goal of 20 percent, relative to 2006, by 2020. In 2011, Fillmore received the Water Management Award through the Green California Leadership, recognizing significant savings in water conservation and efficiency for its Water Recycling Project. The project goes beyond wastewater treatment and through its various educational and community programs, encompasses recreation, education, transportation, entertainment, environmental preservation, sustainability, and improved quality of life for the City of Fillmore and County of Ventura. Fillmore has ELP Tier Level Platinum status.
