Reusing Organics: Promoting the Environment, the Economy and the Community of Oceanside

The City of Oceanside is using composting as a more environmentally and economically sustainable approach to waste management. Their comopsting facility currently processes approximately 20 percent of the city’s waste stream helping them make progress towards meeting its Zero Waste goal.
