California Healthy Cities’ and Communities Speakers Forum
Come hear Dr.Jason Corburn, author of “Toward the Healthy City: People, Places, and the Politics of Urban Planning”, discuss his book and work bridging planning and public health.His research focuses on the links between environmental health and social justice in cities, notions of expertise in science-based policy making, and the role of local knowledge in addressing environmental and public health problems. The Forum will include a presentation, reaction panel with question and answer session, and networking opportunities.
