The League of California Cities hosts a New Mayors & Council Members Academy for newly elected officials.

Each January, the academy offers newly elected officials and others important information on the basic legal and practical framework in which city officials operate.

The program provides the state mandated AB 1234 ethics course. ILG is pleased to provide both this part of the training at the course, as well as many of the written materials that newly elected officials will take home as further reading/reference.
