About the Forum
The Public Sector Workforce Forum shared information about the many exciting initiatives underway to help grow and diversify the public sector workforce. The event spotlighted the Greater Sacramento where local and state governments are significant employers, contributing to the economic vitality of thousands of residents and employees. Speakers shared how grant programs, higher education partnerships, regional collaboratives and state-led efforts are shaping the future of the public sector workforce in a six-county region. Initiatives and programs featured included the California Economic Resilience Fund (CERF), High Road Training Partnerships (HRTP) and the Workforce Accelerator Fund (WAF).
