To recognize the theme of “Smart Justice” during NACo’s National County Government Month, the California State Association of Counties is spotlighting counties where county leaders are developing and implementing creative and successful AB 109 programs to reduce recidivism.

CSAC’s goal is to show specific examples of how these counties are ending the revolving-door cycle and helping people who have been in and out of incarceration for years to finally stay out for good.
