Webinar on Connecting Unbanked Residents to Mainstream Financial Services
Webinar Title: Bank On Cities’ 101: Launching a Campaign to Connect Unbanked Residents to the Financial Mainstream.

The webinar will introduce municipal leaders to the highly
successful Bank On San Francisco model, which nearly 70 cities
have adopted to expand access to free and low-cost bank accounts,
financial education and other services that can put families on a
pathway toward financial stability.
Speaker:
- Leigh Phillips, program manager for San Francisco’s Office of Financial Empowerment. Ms. Phillips will discuss initial steps that municipal officials can take to design and implement a Bank On initiative, and will also highlight a new JoinBankOn.org online resource center.
While the webinar is free, it is only available to a limited
number of participants. Advance registration is required by close
of business Tues., June 15. No phone registrations can be
accepted. One day prior to the call, each registrant will receive
an email providing a toll-free dial-in number and a link to
