Mono County, District 2

It is my honor to serve as the Mono County Supervisor for District 2 and the 2023 Board Chair. As one of the largest geographic regions of the County, District 2 is proud of its diversity and unique character. From Crowley Lake to Chalfant, Sunny Slopes to Swall Meadows, these communities along with Benton, Hammil Valley, Paradise, and Tom’s Place share a great love for the Eastern Sierra and fierce pride in securing its future.

As a 35-year resident of Mono County, I have called Crowley Lake my home since 1997.   Growing up in Southern California and attending Fullerton College and Cal State Fullerton, I enjoyed a 17-year career in the retail industry before I answered the call of the mountains.  Like many of us, I moved here for the winters and stayed for the summers! In Mammoth Lakes, I worked as a hospitality executive for Mammoth Mountain Ski Area and within the Town for 27 years, now I own my own hospitality consulting business. I have served on Recreation, Tourism, Planning and Economic Development commissions, Mono County Arts Council, and the Mono County Grand Jury. Service to others has been my passion in the private sector and I look forward to the challenge of representing and continuing to serve my community.

Mono County has often faced many challenges, including drought, wildfires, recessions, global pandemic, and epic weather events. All of these jeopardize our homes, local businesses, and affect our economy. I am committed to working towards resilience, recovery, and protecting the interests of everyone in Mono County. I encourage everyone to visit the people and places of District 2 and learn why we love it. For me, I cannot imagine living anywhere else
