This webinar explores different enforcement options local officials can consider and will highlight the programs of several agencies. It features presentations by local agency and solid waste/recycling representatives. In addition, the webinar also presents an update of the commercial recycling regulations under development by CalRecycle, although the draft regulations do not include a requirement that cities and counties include an enforcement component.

This webinar, the fifth in a series, helps local officials understand the proposed new regulations, emphasizing what they need to do to be in compliance with the education, monitoring and outreach requirements. The webinar also includes information about new tools available to help local agencies meet these challenges and will provide time for questions and discussion.
