California cities, towns, counties, and special districts are eligible to participate in the Beacon Program. Apply to join today!

Steps to join for cities and counties:

  1. Fill out the online application for cities and counties to participate
  2. Adopt a resolution by the governing body committing the agency to participate in the program. View examples below.

  1. Fill out the online application for special districts to participate
  2. Submit a letter of support from CEO, General Manager, or similar. View examples below.
